Types Of Acne Scars

• Ice pick- They are narrow, V-shaped scars that go deep into the skin. Their shape is like small round or oval holes as if a chickenpox scar. These are the most complicated scars to treat as they extend far under the skin’s surface.
• Rolling- These are wide depressions that often have rounded edges and irregular rolling appearance.
• Hypertrophic or raised scars- Often, they are found in the chest and back, and are most common for these regions. They are formed above the surface of the surrounding skin and are caused by excess collagen during healing.
